Opening new building of Russian State Archive of Cinema and Photo Documents

The Russian State Archive of Cinema and Photo Documents stores over 1.2 photo and cinema documents produced in 1850- 2022 and over 255,000 cinema and photo documents produced in 1896-2021. The new building of the Archive contains depositories for photo and video documents with a total area of over 912 square meters. It also features up-to-date equipment for digitalizing cinema and photo documents and for establishing an online long-term storage library. Additionally, the building has reading rooms, an exhibition hall and an auditorium.
