Spartak Mishulin's 85th birthday

Spartak Mishulin (1926 – 2005), actor, People's Artist of the Russian SFSR and a winner of the Russian State Prize, was born on October 22, 1926. In 1960, he began his career at the Satire Theater to which he devoted 40 years. \nMishulin starred in the plays “Karlsson-on-the-Roof” (on October 4, 2003, was his 2000th performance), “Andryusha,” “Naples, the City of Millionaires,” “Schastlivtsev-Neschastlivtsev.” He also played in the “Happy Event” at the Modern Theater. \nHis most famous roles were: Sir Director in the program “Tavern 13 Chairs,” Said from “White Sun of the Desert” and Karlsson from the legendary play at the Satire Theater. The actor starred in more than 30 films, but Mishulin considered those to be his best. \nMishulin also starred in “A Kingdom Far Far Away,” “The Property of the Republic,” “Car, Violin and Blot the Dog,” “A Man from the Boulevard des Capuchines,” “Womanizer” and “The Enchanted Wanderer.” He dubbed the cartoons “Intangible Funtik,” “Funtik and Detectives” and other.
