The shopping arcade and behind them is the largest of the surviving buildings of the higher theological educational institutions of the madrasah of Muhammad Amin Khan. Built in 1851-1854, by order of the ruler of Khiva, Muhammad Amin Khan. The peculiarity of the architecture is double hujras, or cells for students.
