A Japanese-language edition of the book Malaya Zemlya, part of a trilogy by Leonid Brezhnev, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union. The other two books are entitled Reconstruction and Virgin Lands. Professional Soviet journalists took part in preparing a literary version of Brezhnev's memoirs, first published in 1978 in the Novy Mir (New World) magazine.
