The Belarusian SSR. A Monument to Russian military commander Alexander Suvorov (1730-1800) in Kobrin in the Brest Region of Belarus. Built to a design by sculptor V. S. Chebotaryov from Leningrad, it was unveiled in 1964. Suvorov lived at Kobrinsky Klyuch estate in Kobrin [that was presented to him by Empress Catherine the Great for his loyal service] in 1797 and 180024.09.1966#6054617
