Russia Illegal Immigration Raid

An employee of a shopping centre shows documents during a joint raid by local police, military investigators, military conscription offices and regional branches of the Federal Security Service and National Guard Troops to enforce military registration rules and identify illegal immigrants in Novosibirsk, Russia. After checking 450 people, 17 summonses were issued to the military commissariat for military registration, and 10 foreign nationals who had violated migration law were found to be deported.

DPR Russia Ukraine Military Operation Surrendered Soldiers

In this handout video grab released by the Russian Defence Ministry, Ukrainian soldiers of the Azov battalion are seen on the territory of the Azovstal steel plant in the Russia-controlled port city of Mariupol, Donetsk People's Republic. According to the the Russian Defence Ministry, 1,730 Ukrainian soldiers had surrendered this week at the besieged Azovstal steel plant. The ministry said the injured soldiers were taken to a hospital in Russia-controlled territory in eastern Ukraine. Ukraine has indicated that it will seek a prisoner swap for fighters who surrendered at Azovstal, but Moscow has yet to give a definitive answer on the issue.
