Russia New SSJ Passenger Jet

In this handout photo released by United Aircraft Corporation (UAC), the Sukhoi Superjet New aircraft (SSJ-New) equipped with the domestically-made PD-8 turbofan engine is pictured before its first flight in Komsomolsk-on-Amur, Russia. After Western sanctions prohibited sales of aircraft and aircraft parts to Russia in 2022, Aeroflot signed a contract with Russia's United Aircraft Corporation that provides for the delivery of 339 Russian-made jets by 2030. The deal includes 89 SSJ100s, dubbed SSJ-New.
