The Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. A Junkers Ju-88, code F6+AK (0285) was downed on July 25, 1941, by pilots of the 3rd Fighter Aviation Corps near Istra. Five days later, the plane was put on display on Sverdlov Square (now Teatralnaya Square) in Moscow. The Ju-88 served with the 2nd Long-Range Reconnaissance Squadron of the 122nd Reconnaissance Group (2.(F)/122) that conducted reconnaissance missions on the Moscow and Kaluga sector.30.07.1941#8662501
