

Cathedral of Christ the Savior in Moscow. Designed by architect Konstantin Ton. The construction continued for 44 years. The foundation was laid on September 23, 1839. The cathedral was consecrated on May 26, 1883. It was destroyed on December 5, 1931 and rebuilt on the same site in 1994-1997.
