Riot police uses tear gas and stun grenades against demonstrators taking part in student protests in Paris, France. The initial wave of protests began last month at high schools in Paris' poor northern suburbs and quickly morphed into a nationwide movement against inequality, weak public spending and falling standards. The demonstrations also involve far-left activists, supporters of the "Yellow Vests" movement, taxi drivers, nurses, construction workers, and trade union representatives.
