

The painting "Beheading of Saint John the Baptist" is displayed at the exhibition “A Newly Identified Painting by Rembrandt’s Pupils: Attribution and Restoration” at the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts in Moscow, Russia. Restoration and stylistic analysis showed that the painting was created on two canvases sewn together and was painted by two pupils of Dutch master Rembrandt van Rijn.
