Nikolai Shcherbitsky, grandson of Yakov Novichenko, stands near his grandfather's restored ZAZ-968 Zaporozhets during a ceremony to launch traffic on the new road bridge over the Tumen (Tumannaya) River, connecting Russia's Primorye Territory and North Korea, in Khasan District, Primorye Territory, Russia. The bridge is named after Soviet officer Yakov Novichenko, who covered a grenade thrown at future North Korean leader Kim Il Sung with his body in 1946.
