

World War II veteran Natalya Seraya, 98, receives congratulations ahead of Victory Day, marking the 81st anniversary of the victory over Nazi Germany in World War Two, in Melitopol, Zaporozhye region territory, that has accessed Russia. At the age of 16, in July 1942, she went to the front, adding two years to her age to serve as a communications operator with the 3rd Ukrainian Front. For her wartime service, Natalya Pavlovna was awarded the Order of the Patriotic War, 2nd Class.
