World War II veteran Mikhail Sukhinin, 98, receives congratulations ahead of Victory Day, marking the 81st anniversary of the victory over Nazi Germany in World War Two, in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. In November 1944, he was conscripted into the Red Army and took part in the war with the 72nd training rifle regiment in Lithuania. He later served in the 72nd reserve rifle regiment in Bryansk until 1951.
