

Home front worker Sergei Zenzerov, 98, receives congratulations with the upcoming Victory Day, marking the 81st anniversary of the victory over Nazi Germany in World War Two, in Novosibirsk, Russia. When the war began, Sergei Nikolayevich was too young to go to the front, but worked on the railway inspecting and repairing wagons arriving from the front and accompanying trains carrying weapons and ammunition. At the age of 19, he was awarded the medal "For Valiant Labour in the Great Patriotic War 1941–1945".
