

Former Russian Deputy Defenсe Minister Timur Ivanov, accused of taking bribes worth more than 1.35 billion roubles, as well as laundering criminally obtained assets and illegally possessing and manufacturing weapons, is seen inside a defendant's cage during a hearing at the Simonovsky District Court in Moscow, Russia.The case is the second against Ivanov, who was sentenced in July 2025 to 13 years in prison, fined 100 million roubles, and stripped of all state awards and titles on charges of large-scale embezzlement and money laundering as part of an organised group.
