Cargo trucks are parked at the Kamenny Log (Medininkai on the Lithuanian side) border checkpoint logistics centre in Grodno region, Belarus. The first Lithuanian cargo trucks detained in Belarus returned to Lithuania early on March 24 after President Alexander Lukashenko authorised their departure. More than 1,000 Lithuanian trucks were stranded in Belarus following the closure of the border with Lithuania in October 2025 after repeated incursions by weather balloons carrying smuggled cigarettes.
