Viktor Vasin, the accomplice in the assassination attempt on Russian Lt. Gen. Vladimir Alexeyev, is seen inside a defendant's cage during a hearing to elect a measure of restraint at the Zamoskvoretsky District Court in Moscow, Russia. An assassination attempt on Alexeyev was carried out in a Moscow residential building on February 6; he was subsequently hospitalized. On February 8, the FSB said that the alleged perpetrator of the attack, Lubomir Korba, had been detained in Dubai, extradited to Russia and placed under arrest. Russian citizens Viktor and Pavel Vasins, and Zinaida Serebritskaya were identified as his accomplices.
