

Participants in a case of large-scale fraud involving the theft of 16 million Mechel shares, attend a verdict hearing at the Meshchansky District Court in Moscow, Russia. On December 2, the court ordered former chief financial officer of Mechel Sergei Rezontov, head of the company's international contracts and cooperation department Tatyana Prokofieva and former owner of the international UFS group and the Russian investment company Arbat Finance Elena Zheleznova to pay 560 million rubles in damages to Calridge Limited, the company that owned the Mechel shares, releasing them from criminal liability due to the expiration of the statute of limitations.
