People take part in a rally outside the Chisinau Court of Appeal during a hearing to restrict the activities of four parties of the opposition Pobeda (Victory) bloc, in Chisinau, Moldova. On August 11, Moldova's Ministry of Justice appealed to the Supreme Court of Justice in order to dissolve Pobeda's parties, which deprives them of the opportunity to participate in the upcoming parliamentary elections. On August 19, the Chisinau Court of Appeals decided to restrict the activities of these parties until a final decision was made by the court.
