Servicemen take part in the opening ceremony of the Collective Security Treaty Organisation (CSTO) military drills in the Pobedy (Victory) Square, in Vitebsk, Belarus. Three CSTO drills, codenamed Interaction 2025, Search 2025 and Echelon 2025, began in Belarus on August 31. Interaction 2025 will drill a joint response by Collective Rapid Reaction Forces to a crisis situation in a CSTO member state. Search 2025 aims to optimize cooperation between reconnaissance forces, while Echelon 2025 involves logistic support forces.
