Peter the Great's house on Petrovskaya Embankment in Leningrad. The small wooden house was the first building erected in the city to become, where Peter dwelled in 1703-1708. It is now the Historical and Memorial Museum dedicated to the life of the emperor, where artifacts of the Peter the Great era and authentic items that belonged Peter himself are presented (now a branch of the Russian Museum).
