

In this handout video grab released by the Russian Defence Ministry, servicemen of Russian Pacific Fleet take part in exercises to practice a cruise missile strike against sea target as part of the July Storm drills in the Sea of Japan, Russia. The exercise, involving more than 150 warships and support vessels, 120 aircraft, 10 coastal defence missile systems, around 950 units of military and specialized equipment, and over 15,000 personnel, will run from July 23 to 27 in the waters of the Pacific and Arctic Oceans, the Baltic and Caspian Seas and is intended to test the readiness of naval groupings to respond to non-standard operational scenarios as well as the integrated use of long-range precision weapons, unmanned systems and other advanced military technologies, Russian Defence Ministry announced on July 23.
