The 12th World Festival of Youth and Students in Moscow under the motto "Youth and students for anti-imperialism solidarity". The first meeting of the Anti-Imperialism Tribunals took place in the Congress Hall of Cosmos Hotel. Witness from India accused imperialism of destabilizing and escalating the situation in the Indian Ocean region, building US military bases in Guam, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.
