Police and Investigative Committee officers work at the scene where the body of the former Transport Minister Roman Starovoit was found on July 7 near a parking lot in the Odintsovsky district of Moscow Region, Russia. On the morning of July 7, Starovoit was dismissed from his post. Later in the day, the body of Starovoit was found with a gunshot wound in the Moscow Region, the Russian Investigative Committee said. The main version of his death is suicide.
