Lambsdorff was summoned to the Russian Foreign Ministry on June 27 in connection with the situation with Russian journalists in Germany. Last week, Ministry's spokeswoman Maria Zakharova told announced that Russia was choosing candidates among German journalists in Moscow to take retaliatory measures against them for the persecution of the head of the office of the Rossiya Segodnya media group in Germany, Sergey Feoktistov.
