The Professor Molchanov research vessel is being loaded with cargo before setting off on an expedition to Spitsbergen at the port of Murmansk in Russia. The vessel is set to embark on the first Russian expedition to the Svalbard archipelago in a decade, organised jointly by the State Trust Arktikugol and the Marine Practice expedition centre.
