

World War II veteran Konstantin Puganov attends an event as part of the upcoming Victory Day celebrations, marking the 80th anniversary of the victory over Nazi Germany in World War Two, in Tiraspol, Transnistrian region, also known as the unrecognized Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, Moldova. Konstantin Puganov took part in the Great Patriotic War from September 1944, serving as a sailor in the Soviet Navy, then studied as a cadet at a naval school. He was awarded medals "For Battle Merit" and "For Victory over Germany".
