

President of the self-proclaimed Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic (Transnistria, PMR) Vadim Krasnoselsky congratulates World War II veteran Vladimir Gromov on the upcoming Victory Day, marking the 80th anniversary of the victory over Nazi Germany in World War Two, in Tiraspol, Transnistrian region, also known as the unrecognized Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, Moldova. Vladimir Gromov joined the Red Army at the age of 17, served as a machine-gunner in the 2nd Baltic Front, 8th Panfilov Division, 23rd Regiment, and was awarded the Order of Glory, 3rd Class, the Order of the Patriotic War and many other decorations. He took part in two Victory Day parades in Moscow's Red Square.
