

Stray dogs are seen on the outskirts of Krasnoyarsk, Russia. The Russian State Duma working group on improving legislation in the field of handling stray animals on March 25 has approved several amendments to the bill which proposes to allow regional authorities to euthanize captured stray animals after their term of keeping has expired. In addition, politicians have proposed to introduce a legislative ban on feeding stray animals.
