

In this handout photo released by the Russian Human Rights Ombudswoman Press Office, Russian Commissioner for Human Rights Tatyana Moskalkova welcomes residents of Russia's Kursk Region, who was taken away by the Ukrainian armed forces after they launched an offensive into Russia on August, 2024, upon their returning in Belarus. 33 residents of the Kursk region were returned from Ukraine to Russia with the assistance of the International Committee of the Red Cross and the mediation of the Republic of Belarus, Moskalkova said on March 3.
