

Alexei Skurlatov (right), a Great Patriotic War veteran, former scout and communications officer, participant in the liberation of Bulgaria, and his comrade-in-arms visited the Bayonets Memorial Complex, a monument to the defenders of Moscow, located at the 40th kilometer of the Leningrad Highway. Here, in December 1941, fierce battles took place along the front line, when the Nazi troops were stopped and pushed back from Moscow.
