NBC filming TV series Peter the Great with the participation of the Sovinfilm Soviet export film association. Directors: Marvin Chomsky and Lawrence Schiller. Based on Robert Massie's novel "Peter the Great. His Life and His World." Production designer Alexander Popov recreated wooden Moscow and the Moscow Kremlin of the Peter the Great era in Suzdal to the smallest detail for the filming of the series Peter the Great. The streets of 17th-century Moscow were built in the floodplain of Kamenka and near the walls of the Spaso-Yevfimiev and Spaso-Pokrovsky monasteries.
