The Ukrainian SSR. The family of Nikolai Barinov, an engineer-electrician from the Ordzhonikidze Zaporozhstal Iron and Steel Works recalls the years they spent in India. Nikolai Barinov helped build a steel-smelting plant in Bokaro, one of the largest enterprises of India's ferrous metallurgy sector, completed with Soviet assistance.
