The fifth National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam themed "For the Socialist Motherland, for the Happiness of the People", March 27-31, 1982, in Hanoi. The Soviet party delegation, headed by Secretary of the CPSU Central Committee Mikhail Gorbachev (left), arrived for the congress and is welcomed at the airport.
