The Novocherkassk Museum of the History of the Don Cossacks. A sabre in a scabbard, presented by the London City Council to ataman of the Don Cossack Army Matvei Platov. The sabre was sent to Matvei Platov by Field Marshal Wellington at the request of the Lord Mayor of London in October 1815 from Paris and received by him in St. Petersburg.
