Schoolchildren mourn at the Gorod Angelov (City of Angels) memorial cemetery, where victims of the deadly school siege are buried, on the 20th anniversary of the tragedy in the town of Beslan, Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, Russia. On September 1, 2004, more than 30 armed terrorists took hundreds of hostages at School No. 1 in Beslan during celebrations marking the start of the school year. As a result of the three-day siege, 334 people were killed, including 186 children.
