People walk past a modular double-reinforced concrete shelter designed to protect civilians from shelling as Russia's military operation in Ukraine continues, set up near a bus stop in Kursk, Russia. Acting governor of Kursk region Alexei Smirnov wrote on Telegram that 60 ground-level shelters will be placed at transport stops in Kursk, 10 shelters would be installed in the smaller city of Zheleznogorsk and similar measures would be taken in the town of Kurchatov, which is located next to the Kursk nuclear plant.
