The Nuremberg Trials were international trials of former leaders of Nazi Germany. They took place from November 20, 1945 to October 1, 1946 at the International Military Tribunal in the Palace of Justice in Nuremberg after the end of World War II. Baldur von Schirach, the leader of the Nazi youth organization Hitler Youth, was the youngest of the Hitler leaders tried at Nuremberg. During his interrogation, the Imperial Youth Leader and Gauleiter of Vienna, von Schirach, had a sincere epiphany: "All troubles come from racial policy." Baldur von Schirach was found guilty of crimes against humanity by the International Military Tribunal and sentenced to twenty years in prison.
