

The Nuremberg Trials were international trials of former leaders of Nazi Germany. They took place from November 20, 1945 to October 1, 1946 at the International Military Tribunal in the Palace of Justice in Nuremberg after the end of World War II. Center: Defendant Wilhelm Keitel, one of the main war criminals, enters the courtroom for the last time. Keitel was sentenced to death by hanging. The sentence was carried out on 16 October 1946.
