

The Nuremberg Trials were international trials of former leaders of Nazi Germany. They took place from November 20, 1945 to October 1, 1946 at the International Military Tribunal in the Palace of Justice in Nuremberg after the end of World War II. The speech by the Assistant Chief Prosecutor from the USSR Mark Raginsky, right, is devoted to the "scorched earth" tactic widely pursued by the Nazis during their retreats on the Soviet-German front.
