

The Nuremberg Trials were international trials of former leaders of Nazi Germany. They took place from November 20, 1945 to October 1, 1946 at the International Military Tribunal in the Palace of Justice in Nuremberg after the end of World War II. Speech by US Chief Prosecutor Robert Jackson, who stated: "The wrongs which we seek to condemn and punish have been so calculated, so malignant, and so devastating, that civilization cannot tolerate their being ignored, because it cannot survive their being repeated."
