

The Nuremberg Trials were international trials of former leaders of Nazi Germany. They took place from November 20, 1945 to October 1, 1946 at the International Military Tribunal in the Palace of Justice in Nuremberg after the end of World War II. Lieutenant General Roman Rudenko, Chief State Prosecutor of the USSR. Characterizing the Nuremberg Trials, Roman Rudenko emphasized that this was the first case when criminals who had seized control of an entire state and made the state itself an instrument of their monstrous crimes were brought to trial.
