

The Nuremberg Trials were international trials of former leaders of Nazi Germany. They took place from November 20, 1945 to October 1, 1946 at the International Military Tribunal in the Palace of Justice in Nuremberg after the end of World War II. A view of the corridor of the Nuremberg prison where the main Nazi war criminals were held, under 24-hour surveillance by American soldiers guarding the prison. The 24-hour surveillance of the defendants was introduced after the suicide of SA Obergruppenführer Robert Ley.
