Veterans of the Great Patriotic War, participants in the battle of Kursk and local residents during memorial events for those killed near Prokhorovka during the war. Burial of the remains of 13 soldiers found in the summer of 1994 during search operations in the vicinity of Prokhorovka. On July 12, 1994, a Crucifixion seven-meter copper cross by sculptor Vyacheslav Klykov was installed and unveiled at the grave.
