

A war correspondent of Komsomolskaya Pravda newspaper, and member of the Presidential Council for the Development of Civil Society and Human Rights Alexander Kots speaks during a farewell ceremony for Russian broadcaster NTV's cameraman Valery Kozhin killed in a drone attack amid Russia's military operation in Ukraine, at the Ostankino TV centre in Moscow, Russia. On June 13, 2024, Kozhin, as well as correspondent Alexey Ivliyev and an accompanying officer were wounded in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) and taken to hospital. Later he died as a result of his injuries, according to the mayor of the DPR city of Gorlovka.
