People pay their respects during a farewell ceremony for Russian lawmaker and Arctic explorer Artur Chilingarov before his funeral at the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour in Moscow, Russia. Chilingarov, a polar explorer, a member of the Russian Academy of Sciences and head of the Russian State Polar Academy, passed away on June 1 at the age of 84.
