Viktor Ovsyannikov, a Leningrad siege survival, and his wife Tatyana are pictured on the eve of Victory Day in their apartment in Tambov, Russia. Ovsyannikov joined the Soviet army in 1960 and served for thirty years, having made a career from a private to a lieutenant colonel. For his courage and faithful service Viktor Ovsyannikov was rewarded with numerous state awards.
