

World War Two veteran Mikhail Navrotsky, second left, receives congratulations on the upcoming Victory Day, marking the 79th anniversary of the victory over Nazi Germany in World War Two, in the courtyard of his house in Tiraspol, Transnistria region, also known as the unrecognised Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic (PMR), Moldova. Navrotsky fought against Japan during World War Two as a radio operator and was awarded the Order of the Patriotic War, the medals "For Victory over Germany", "For Battle Merit" and "For Victory over Japan".
