World War Two veteran Vera Gubareva receives congratulations on the upcoming Victory Day, marking the 79th anniversary of the victory over Nazi Germany in World War Two, in the courtyard of her house in Tiraspol, Transnistria region, also known as the unrecognised Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic (PMR), Moldova. Gubareva participated in the Great Patriotic War as a nurse from October 1942 to April 1945, took part in the liberation of Belarus as part of the 1st Belorussian Front, 36th Military Sanitary Company as part of the 3rd Ukrainian Front.
